Dr. Sonia Vulakh Is a Caring & Compassionate Dentist

Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. Sonia Vulakh worked at Mount Sinai Medical Hospital in New York City. She enjoyed the hospital atmosphere and helping people so much that she decided to continue her career in medicine.

Dr. Vulakh obtained her dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 1995 and finished her dental training at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. She is a member of The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and the New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA). She enjoys providing exceptional dental care for patients in Montvale and the surrounding areas.

In her spare time, Dr. Vulakh enjoys reading and listening to a diverse range of music. Although she doesn’t claim to be an expert, she also loves playing the piano.

Dr. Vulakh is absolutely amazing. Saw her for the first time and she advised me to get a new crown and a veneer to fix my smile. The entire process was pain free and every person in the practice treated me with such care. I also found out I had some gum issues which Alicia helped me treat with so much care. As someone with dental trauma and anxiety regarding the dentist, Montvale Dental is the calmest place I’ve been to and I will continue to go back!

Professional service and great cleaning. Phil was an amazing dental hygienist and took the time to answer all of my questions and was very gentle with the X-rays. Sonia Vulakh is an excellent dentist. Well done cleaning, and educating me on what to different in the future. Receptionist was very friendly (Mary Ann) and made my life very easy and streamlined the insurance process. I had to get a night guard and they have fantastic technology to make the process fast and efficient by using technology to take photos of my teeth. Definitely beats having molding put in my mouth. Overall, great office and great staff. Highly recommend! Thank you.

Had a set of complete x rays, a cleaning that was so good my teeth were shining, a oral cancer screening (something that no other dentist has ever offered me) and a one on one with the dentist explaining my next steps! Best dentist I’ve ever been to in my life!!!! And this is coming from someone who usually has panic attacks at dental offices. Dr Sonia Vulakh was soooo nice and patient with me, really took my anxiety in consideration and made me relax without any Xanax lol. She’s truly the best!
